加油

终于好好哭了一场.

上一次哭是去年 -隔天该出院的病人, 晚上豪无预警的走了.

隔天, 护士們看到我都爭相報告, Dr. Low, he has gone, the family would like to speak to you.

May I share all the merits I have accumulated in the past, present, and future with both of them

May they continue to be blessed by the good kamma they have created

May the power of goodness protect them

Living

These days, I often feel that I don't exist in my own life.

But your constant checking-in, warm food, warm messages and company have anchored me again and again. So, thank you.

New Year 2021 新年快乐

Never thought that I would spend my first day of 2021 in a Covic Clinic for testing as I travelled to Victoria (hotspot) and arrived in Perth on 21st Dec 2020. Miss by one day. But I think this is the right thing to do.

5 more days in self-isolation, not great but not that bad. Just have to continue to enjoy the solitary.

Happy New Year to me and you. The new year always brings hope, positive energy and new resolution.

May this positive energy and hope continue towards the end of 2021.

p/s: Thank you for the frontline workers who work through this pandemic.

Grief is a weird thing

it hits you when you are most unprepared.

Notes to self:

- be kind and gentle to yourself

- be kind and gentle to others

- take a small step each time. It is the small step that counts, in the end.

老爸的心跳

医学院第一学期,拿到了听诊器。
第一个想听的心跳是老爸的,他心脏有孔。
还没来得及回家,他心却不跳了。

我恨 Covid-19.

Receiving bad news

It's impossible for not feeling disappointed and sad.
It's also not possible to be able to let it go and heal immediately.
But, with my current state now, I shall be able at least to live with the bad news.

Just live with it.

Grateful

Nothing else I could say other than thank you.
For the supports that I have received for so many of you up until now.
Thank you all.

I am forever thankful to my parents, who are still striving to take care of themselves so that we can pursue our dreams; to my spiritual teachers, who always give me the strength I need when I strive to be good and wholesome; to my friends, who always accompany me through bad and good times; finally to Mr Ronny, thanks for letting me to be myself, to be who I am.

I love you all.
May you all be well and happy.

2019

Don't expect a life without problems as it is unrealistic.
Instead, work hard so that you will have wisdom and courage to handle problems when they arise.

What is essential

Smartness and luck can only bring you so far, only discipline can bring you to your final destination.

Which road do you take?

The Road Not Taken

by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Self-care: have you got some sun today?

it's still not too late...

Get up and get out ... for a bit

Defining success

"Success is the progressive recognition of a worthy idea" - Earl Nightingale
I cannot agree more with that.

Happy Wednesday!

There'are things...

...that only our hearts can see

exploring ...

an alternative way of living.
Less waste, less complaint, less cluttered ...
The way in which less is more.
Wish me luck.
