sad but it's true...
To me, at least for now and hopefully forever,
doing Science is still a calling.

It's a choice

Scott: By the way, you don't have to knock every time you enter my room.
LY: Yes, I know I don't have to but I choose to do it.

I don't have to wake up very early on weekends, don't have to travel for 4 hours for my monastery visit, don't have to reply every text message, don't have to drop a major component of my research, don't have to .... yet I choose to do them. 

It's always hard to go against the grain but not when you genuinely choose to do it.

Today...

... I was reminded on this,
" Learning happens everywhere and anytime".

Thought for the Day

It can be very haunting, beautiful but in a sad way, when you're committed to only one thing but unsure whether it will grant you the result that you desire.

Yet, it's hard to give it up.

A strong mind and a gentle heart, I think, are the two things that needed for this kind of journey.
