Craving

Ajahn Brahmavamso talked about 'craving'.
It is not because you want the things you craved for but you are addicted to 'craving'. For most people, life is craving, life is wanting for something. Craving gives us a sense of being, a sense of identity. The problem of craving is, if you want the next thing, you cannot enjoy the thing you are having now. When you have stillness of mind, you reserve your mental energy :-) Sometimes, remember to look at things which have been done, do not always look only at what have not been done. (Note: Be careful of this saying !!)

Bro.Tan said: This is good enough for me. This is enough for me. I have enough of what I need. What others need is what they need and that is not what I need.

Ajahn Jayasaro said: " There are two types of craving: wholesome and unwholesome cravings. For unwholesome craving, it can be craved for sensual pleasure, wanting to be and not wanting to be."
